Hey guys!
So, guess what? Even though it isn't quite September yet, apparently THE DUFF has been spotted in the wild!
Yes, in some stores around the country, THE DUFF is on the shelves! ON. THE. SHELVES.
*spazzes*
*spazzes again*
So, in honor of this excitement, I decided "Hey, I have some copies of THE DUFF here and . . . hey, I should give some away!"
And that's what I'm doing!
I'm going to host a series of 3 contests - 1 on this blog, 1 on twitter, and 1 on youtube. This blog contest will be the first, and I'll introduce the others in weeks to come. The prize for all 3 will be a finished copy of THE DUFF!
So let's get this party started!
Since the other contests will be a little more challenging *evil laughter of scheming here* I decided that this one will be a standard giveaway.
The Rules:
1, To enter, you must be a follower of this blog.
2. Comment = 1 entry
+ 1 for tweeting about the contest
+ 1 for blogging about the contest (+ 2 if you give a paragraph or two about why YOU want to win THE DUFF in your blog post!)
So you have a chance for 4 entries. In your comment, list which ones you did (with links if possible) and tally up your total points!
3. This is the ONLY one of the 3 contests available for international entries. If you are international, this is the one to enter because the twitter and youtube contests will not be open outside of the US. (Sorry! I wish I could let everyone enter, but I just don't have the money to do that! So enter this one!)
4. Leave your email in your comment. This makes tracking you down to send you a prize SO much easier!
And that's basically it.
Contest ends at Midnight on Sunday, August 29. Winner will be announced on Aug 30.

A copy of THE DUFF in the wild...I must hunt it down! My school librarian pre-ordered ten copies of the book, but I would spazz out (yes, spazz!) if I won a copy to read (and then share with my students...ha!). Awesome contest!

I actually went around my bookstore looking for the DUFF. I went up to the guy and he looked it up on the computer and he was like "Ma'am that isn't released until the 7th." I was like "Why must you follow teh rules!!1!" Hehe.
