So I've been waiting a few days to post this, and now that I can share, I'm eager to tell you my news!
The thing is, though the nws is big to me, it may not be big to anyone else. Which is to say it may not mean as much to anyone else as it does to me. That said, if all the right stars align, this news could actually be REALLy big, and not just to me.
And I'm rambling.
So the news is:
!!!! CBS Films Bought the Film Rights to THE DUFF !!!!
Which basically means that I now have a producer, a director, a screenwriter, and a studio! Woohoo!
Now I know some of you are thinking, "Isn't this old news? Didn't that happen last month?" Well, it isn't old news, because last time it was announced online, it wan't true. That was a false leak. This time, however, it IS true. So yay!
A note: This doesn't mean the movie will definitely be made or aything. Basically, it just means the chances have increased. To be honest, I'm still hazy on how it all works or where we go from here, but it's a big step in the right direction, which is great! Who knows, maybe one day we'll see Bianca and Wesley on the big screen!
So that's my news. *squeeee*

I'm so glad to read these news! Haven't read Duff yet, but I will make sure to do that soon!
One question though. Are you worried the big screen version will mess up the story?
I often find the movie version sort of bleak comparing to the book. Some movies are better than others. The Percy Jackson movie for example was kinda horrible comparing to the book. However, as long as I tried not to relate the two, I found it easier to watch it.
Oh, and one more question, what does this mean for you? Are there going to be any major differences for you, if the book is made into a movie?
